Octantis was never lost. Heptantis was the closest to the surface and reappeared as soon as my group fixed the problem. Tetrantis was found out in the ocean; there's a couple shipping families reestablishing trade and helping reconnect them.
... I'm hoping to find Tridanis via Kraghammer. That leaves four after that.
[ Oh thank the gods. Tolovir takes a gulp - gags a bit - but is glad of the bracing liquid. ]
They're large cities, so you'd think it wouldn't be that hard. But the sheer variety of possible locations has made things difficult. And the current Underdark isn't keen on cooperating.
[Percy is neatly cutting into his; Vox Machina may be a hurricane of mayhem, but he at least tries when he's on his own. But he stops to look up to Tolovir before back down.]
We originally went looking for an ally that had disappeared down there at the behest of a friend. In order to be allowed down, the Greyspine family asked us to clear out whatever was plaguing their mines making it impossible to work.
My group and I went down and... Definitely cleaned up.
[It's not a time he likes to think about. The journey down, Clarota betraying them, finding Kima tortured. They were all so sure they would lose someone on the way out. He eats quietly for a few minutes.]
Yes. Well. They've been successfully mining again, and they owe us a favor. So I'm using it.
[Honestly maybe it's not the worst bacon and eggs. It definitely isn't good, but maybe not the worst.]
Anyway, I don't see any reason they shouldn't let you through. [If Tolovir is being honest. His insight's usually correct, but it never hurts to be cautious.]

[Despite however aloof he may have seemed before, he is actively listening.]
How many are left?

[A theme. How quaint. But not for him to judge.]
Hopefully the city rebuilding trade can help push for routes to the other cities as you find them.

[ He manages a soft smile. ]
I have a few friends who will likely help with that.

[At least ale gets brought down to them. Not his favorite, but it's something.]
How hard do you think it will be to find the others?

[Siiiip.]
All the same. I hope you're able to locate them all.

But hopefully sooner than later.

[ He starts eating once their food arrives. ]
What's your business in Kraghammer?

Cleaned up what, exactly?
[ Like, if you fought drow he's not going to take offense here. All the drow he's met in Faerun proper so far have been dicks to him. ]

A small army of illithids. And a beholder that was controlling them.
no subject
Nasty business then. No wonder they where having mining issues.
no subject
Yes. Well. They've been successfully mining again, and they owe us a favor. So I'm using it.

For your - ah. Bureaucratic mission.
no subject
At least it should be relatively painless.

Good. Ah. One fewer complication.

...May I ask what takes you to the Star Mounts? You said your sister?
no subject
[ He continues to eat as he talks. Casual, as if he's not saying something weird here. ]
She's an Aarakocra.

Your sister.
