Percy takes the moment to tie the horse up and grab his bag before heading in, taking care of two rooms et all. Before long he's handing Tolovir a room key.]

All yours. If anything happens, um. Shout, I suppose.

[ He takes it, still flustered around the edges. ]

Yes. I. I need to go back out for a horse shortly. We could meet for dinner?

Sure. I know a place that should still serve me since I'm not with the others.

[hermit_crab]

I’m sorry, what.

A lot happened.

I can imagine, but dining establishments?

We are an eccentric group of varied tastes.

[hermit_crab]

… In other words, you consistently got drunk and trashed the place.

I claim it isn't entirely our faults that the barkeep refuses to stop serving us well past the cut off.

[hermit_crab]

[ Okay fine, that gets a light snort of a laugh. ]

I suppose if you have a reputation, then yes. Their fault.

I think the barbarian is enough to warrant caution.

Oh. An actual barbarian? The raging sort? Gods and void.

Yes, he's a good friend. Big softy. But impossible to deal with when it comes to ale.

… And then the big part of big softy becomes more of a problem, I imagine.

I suppose that's one way to say 'he becomes a colossal asshole', yes.

[ That —-

Okay good job Percy, you get a full laugh this time. ]

Oh, he's well aware. We tell him to his face constantly.

[He tugs at the end of his jacket sleeve and looks around.]

If you're wanting to get a horse, you may need to step it up. I'll see you later.

[hermit_crab]

[ Oh right, DUSK. Tolovir might prefer the night hours, but the market won’t.

His laugh dies back down again as he regathers his things. ]

Later, then, at a tavern that won’t hate you on sight.

[ And he heads up to his room to drop stuff / head out for that horse. That ……… is going to be a TRIAL, but gods damn it he’s going to make it happen. ]

Yes. Later.

[Percy meanwhile will head out to get supplies he needs. Ugghhh he hates these kinds of trips. But he'll wait outside the door of the inn around sundown, waiting.]

[hermit_crab]

[ In the meantime, Tolovir has indeed managed to find a horse. It is, frankly, more of a pony, but you know what? He'd been too terrified of the big ones to even try.

He looks a bit disheveled as he returns to the front of the inn. ]

-- Ah. Percy.

[Well that's probably not good.

Also not his business. He does give a little wave.]

Tolovir.

[hermit_crab]

[ He seems perfectly unharmed and very tired of thinking about horses. ]

I am ready for dinner if you are.

[inclementia]

Yes, that would be... Good.

[If he sounds relieved, he is. Thank gods he isn't going to be asked to help with whatever got Tolovir ruffled. He motions for Tolovir to follow; not far, just a few buildings down to a tavern.]

It isn't much, but it'll doe for tonight.

[hermit_crab]

[ Tolovir follows, then, taking a moment to rub at the bridge of his nose under his glasses. ]

... That's fine. As long as it's food, I'm not picky.

[He'll nod, opening the door. Thankfully there's enough diversity that a drow walking in doesn't cause any commotion. But it's still early so it's a bit sparse.]

Good. It's slim but hearty.
